You will have access to a full kitchen and open concept living area along with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for up to 4 guests. This home shares a main entrance with the upstairs unit, but is thereafter a private oasis.
This home is settled in a small beach town with all the amenities within a short distance. Within walking distance is Main Street featuring a variety of flavors to try — Thai, Mexican, Japanese, and Italian restaurants all call Main Street home along with an assortment of breakfast spots where you can have Nick’s famous breakfast burrito at Nick’s Deli on Main or grab a coffee at Bogart’s and walk the pier. Take a surf lesson on the north side of the pier or go on a run around town and take in the charm of the town and the streets lined with beautiful flowers and trees.
Should you wish to venture outside of the immediate area, Seal Beach is perfectly situated for all activities. 30 minutes from Disneyland and Knott’s, 7 miles from Aquarium of the Pacific, and 20 miles from Pelican Hill Golf Club. You can head to Sunset Beach and kayak or paddle board through Huntington Harbor or drive 30 minutes to an Angels baseball game. We hope you will make our home a getaway you will never forget!

Fabulous stay
We have stayed at 1313 Seal Way twice now, and both stays have been magical and amazing. The best thing, for me, about this vacation rental is the view. The living room has 3 giant windows (basically the entire front of the house) that look out onto Seal Beach, south of the Seal Beach Pier – just stunning views of the enormous beach and the ocean beyond. Just steps from the front door is the sidewalk that runs in front of the houses in this 6-block area fronting the beach. Immediately adjacent to the sidewalk is the SAND! It’s almost like living on the beach! Whether inside the house or in the sitting area outside next to the sidewalk or on the beach in front of the house, the view is ever-changing and captivating.
1313 Seal Way is an upstairs/downstairs duplex, with the vacation rental being on the downstairs level. It is immaculately decorated with curated antiques from southeast Asia. Beautiful artwork adorns every wall. The place is fully remodeled by someone with excellent taste and attention to detail. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves at home while we were there. We are vacation rental owners ourselves and know what goes in to keeping vacation rentals up to a high standard, and this one definitely meets that standard.
Our hosts, Rebecca and Don live upstairs and took excellent care of us. Anything we needed, they responded to immediately and took care of any of our issues. Our only real issue was figuring out the TV and internet usage as it was different from what we have at home. Our hosts were also very accommodating by giving us unscented linens, per our request. They were more than happy to set up beach chairs and umbrellas for us out on the beach. Besides the beach chairs and umbrellas, we also had use of beach towels and boogie boards, which we used a lot in the gentle Seal Beach surf. And one of the neatest things about our hosts is that Rebecca grew up there and is old-school, local Seal Beach, so she really knows the area. My husband loved that, as he grew up in a house 10 houses up the beach from 1313 Seal Way. Seal Beach is known to get some especially gnarly surf in the winter storm months, but the warm summer months generally bring gentle, 1-2 foot surf, especially on the north side of the pier.
As it says on the website, the front doors to both units are shared, and while this may sound odd to some people, it actually works out just fine. The downstairs unit does have it’s own back door, and the front door to the upstairs unit is separated by a sliding barn-type door. The units are completely separate and private. Not to worry.
Finally, the location of 1313 Seal Way is absolutely ideal. It is an easy walk to the Seal Beach Pier and Main St which has tons of wonderful restaurants and cute shops. We ate at Crema Cafe several times and Blackboard Bistro several times as well, and both were great. We also ate at the Beach House at the far end of Seal Beach and at Walt’s Wharf. We did some major retail damage at a store that featured imports from Central America and at the Harbor Surf Shop. Walking on Main St was really fun and very enjoyable. On-street parking was included with our stay, which was great. Given this ideal location, we really didn’t need to drive anywhere. However, just FYI, Disneyland is about 25 minutes away. We had everything we needed right where we were though.
We had a fantastic stay at 1313 Seal Way and have already booked a stay there next summer.
