Within walking distance is Main Street featuring a variety of flavors to try — Thai, Mexican, Japanese, and Italian restaurants all call Main Street home along with an assortment of breakfast spots where you can have Nick’s famous breakfast burrito at Nick’s Deli on Main or grab a coffee at Bogart’s and walk the pier. Take a surf lesson on the north side of the pier or go on a run around town and take in the charm of the town and the streets lined with beautiful flowers and trees.

Should you wish to venture outside of the immediate area, Seal Beach is perfectly situated for all activities. 30 minutes from Disneyland and Knott’s, 7 miles from Aquarium of the Pacific, and 20 miles from Pelican Hill Golf Club. You can head to Sunset Beach and kayak or paddle board through Huntington Harbor or drive 30 minutes to an Angels baseball game. We hope you will make our home a getaway you will never forget!

The blue beach house

The last ten years or so, my every visit to Seal Beach has been during the winter. I met the hosts last year and decided to stay with them this February, and had a wonderful time. The apartment is perfectly set up, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well appointed.

Seal Beach has a very laid-back vibe, really sweet people, great food, yet close to Long Beach if you need to party. Its a walkable community, with an amazing beach (a short climb over the berm in winter) just steps away.

Don and Rebecca are very accommodating, and very happy to share local knowledge with their guests. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Great Beach Getaway

Seal Beach is a fantastic walkable town. We enjoyed Don and Rebecca’s hospitality as well as their restaurant suggestions. We loved listening to the vinyl collection while we were enjoying the beach views. Perfect location and great hosts!
